School, now house. Late C17 with late C18 and C20 alterations. Brick
on sandstone plinth, tile roof, gable end stacks. Two storeys on cellar
with attic lit by four flat roofed dormers, brick coped verges, brick
dentilled cornice; five plus one windows (that to right a late C18 addition):
five timber cross windows and a 4-pane sash; ground floor: entrance in fourth
bay from left, pedimented doorcase with pilasters and triglyph frieze.
Interior: well staircase in gabled projection to rear with splat balusters.
In the entrance there are some moulded ceiling beams, possibly C16, but
no other part of the building shows any traces predating the late C17.
