Gate and gatepiers and railings. Circa 1875. Cast iron, painted black,
mounted on a low brick wall with a plain chamfered limestone coping. S and C
scroll decoration to single gate, overthrow and gate piers repeated in lower
panels of railings. Railings divided by central frieze with upper section of
double twisted balusters supported by scroll brackets and terminating with
ball finials. The verticals and newels with larger finials. The railings
terminate at the beginning of the ha-ha to the north-east boundary of the
garden.
