II

Two attached Cottages. C18, probably with earlier cores. Rubble
stone walls, with brick-raised eaves. Thatch roof with gable-ends.
Brick stacks at left hand gable, centre and right hand gable. Mainly
2 storeys, c.4 windows. Ground floor with tripartite sashes, upper
floor with 2- and 3-light casements with lead lights. Front doors:
no 1, left of centre with one glass panel, C20. No 2; at centre,
fielded panels with a wooden frame and pentice slate roof. Unusual
thin side panels in beside door.
