A Grade II Listed Building in Great Bowden, Leicestershire

School, Dingley Road, Great Bowden

Uploader's Comments

Built of red brick in the Tudor Gothic style with straight hood moulds above the many paned windows. National School built by public subscription and opened on 2nd Dec 1939. To how many of the children would this have seemed an excellent Christmas present, I wonder. (Photo Apr 2014).
