6/130 Lower Eype Farmhouse

Farmhouse. c 1700. Coursed rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof with stone gable
coping at right gable. Hipped at left gable. 2 brick stacks, at centre and
at right hand gable. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 3 light wooden casements with
glazing bars. Wooden litels and cills. Large stone lintel blocks-above the
wooden lintels. Front door at centre, wood with glass panels, C20. Interior:
mid-chamfered beams. "RCHM, Dorset I", p 239 (19).
