Attached cottage. C17. Rubble-stone-walls. Thatch roof, half-hipped at
left hand gable. 1½ storeys. 2 windows, 2 light renewed wooden casements
with glazing bars. Front door, left of centre, wood with glass panels, C20.
One C17 window on north wall of 2 light casement type, with 12 lead lights
per window, right window fixed. Interior: ceiling beams with big straight
chamfers and filleted stops. Large open fireplace with wooden lintel over,
straight-chamfered. Bread oven in left hand jamb. Keeping Place high up on
rear wall. Roof construction of halved oak rafters with through purlins.
