C18, but No 40 was refronted in late C19. Front of house is, therefore, not
included. Longhouse type farm. Hammer-dressed stone. Barn has pitched stone
slate roof, house has modern tiles. Rear has one 3-light stone mullioned window,
2 lights blocked. Barn was altered in early or mid C19 and consequently has
one elliptically headed arch and 2 round-headed loft windows to rear.
