House, c1770, C19 and early C20. Brick, rendered with steeply pitched slate
roof and end parapet. Original gault brick end stacks with narrow tiles to
capping (similar to Nos. 19, 20, 21 West End). Two storeys and attic framed
by rusticated quoins. Three recessed casements at first floor and two
sixteen pane hung sashes on either side of doorway. Outshut at rear added
C19. Kitchen wing, brick pantiled early C20. Interior: One ground floor
room has raised and fielded panelling in two heights with dentilled cornice
and band of ornament at dado height. Paired architraves and cornices to the
doorcases (one to a cupboard) and fluted pilasters flanking the original
fireplace surround. Two chambers at first floor have details of a similar
date. One has a shouldered fireplace and overmantel with moulded cornice and
another with fluted pilasters flanking the fireplace.
