House. C17 origins, remodelled and enlarged C18. Roughcast and whitewashed
brick. Roofs of concrete tiles. Double pile plan. South facade of 2 storeys
and dormer attic in 7 bays. Early C19 central panelled door with inserted
glazing. Bowed portico porch on 2 fluted and reeded columns and engaged
columns. Fluting in form of alternately rolled and sunk hollow mouldings.
Early C19 sash windows with glazing bars. Gabled roof has 3 flat-topped
dormers with casements. Internal gable end stacks. A stone eagle sits on
roof over door. Interior retains 2 C17 bridging beams, tongue stopped and
with sunk quadrant mouldings. Several similar bridging beams survive in first
floor, all closely spaced.
