Farmhouse and barn. Mid C17 with C20 alterations and additions. Painted
rendered walls, under graduated greenslate roof with painted rendered chimney
stacks. Barn of whitewashed limestone rubble under corrugated asbestos roof. 2
storeys, 3 bays with barn to right of common roof line. C20 porch covers
internal door, with weathered lintel inscription thought to be to Lyons family.
Sash windows in original C17 surrounds under hoodmoulds. Small fire window on
ground-floor right. Interior has inglenook with firebeam and heck partition.
Barn has left plank door in C17 chamfered-stone surround. Projecting cart
entrance to right and lean-to shippon. Slit vents. Further doorway, with C17
surround, to right. C19 barn extension to extreme right is not of interest.
