C18 house built on the site of a mediaeval hostelry of the Knights Hospitallers
of St John of Jerusalem. Two storeys and attics. Faced with flints with red
brick window dressings and quoins. Hipped tiled roof with wooden eaves cornice.
Three dormers. Four sashes with glazing bars intact. Later projecting stuccoed
porch with room over.
