Barn. Late C16. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated iron. 3
bays aligned N-S with midstrey to E. Lean-to extension each side of midstrey.
Jowled posts, heavy studding with curved bracing trenched to the inside. Edge-
halved and bridled scarf in W wallplate. Clasped purlin roof with high collars
and curved wind-bracing. The original threshing floor of C16 herringbone red
brick is a rare and valuable feature.
