Mid C19. Single span bridge (arched) over Wessenden Brook carrying A62. Rock-
faced stone with large rock-faced arch stones. Deeply coursed rock-faced parapet
with string course at base and rusticated copings. Arch is not square to rest
of bridge and arch stones protrude unevenly to south. To north are 2 piers to
either side of arch. More recent (slightly battered) retaining walls to each
side of bridge.
