House, now shop with offices above. C15 or C16, altered C18
and C19. Timber-framed, colourwashed pebbledash, with
colourwashed brick, and stuccoed brick underbuilding
continuous first floor jetty, cornice, old tiled roof. 2
storeys, first floor has 2 nearly flush-set sash windows with
glazing bars and architrave surrounds. Ground floor has twin
recessed mid C20 segmental bay windows with glazing bars and
central half-glazed door. North gable elevation boarded on
ground floor and pebbledashed and colourwashed on first floor.
2 storey gabled rear outshoot, stuccoed over timber frame,
with old tiled roof.
INTERIOR: ground floor front room, now shop, has C18 timber
ceiling cornice with dentil frieze. Roof has heavy section
paired halved and pegged hardwood rafters, with notches for
former collars, indicating an original crown post
construction, replaced by C19 or later inserted side purlins
and struts to tie-beam.
