Shop, formerly with living accommodation above, now offices.
Early C19. Stucco, hipped roof, with modern concrete
interlocking pantiles replacing Welsh slate.
3 storeys, eaves cornice, first and second floor have 2 sash
windows, with divided glazing, flush set with exposed boxes.
Modern shopfront and boxed out fascia, on ground floor. Paired
multi-shafted cast-iron columns either side of central
entrance door appear to survive from an earlier C19 shopfront.
North elevation faces East Street. 3 storeys. Modern
rebuilding of ground floor with masonry lined stucco and
modern sash window and door in timber pilaster surround. Above
deep flat fascia, building is yellow brick, C19, with one sash
window, with glazing bars, recessed on first and second
floors. Mono-pitched pantiled roof behind brick parapet. This
projects from 3-storey form of building facing High Street and
is numbered as 17 East Street.
