Pair of semi-detached villas. Early C19. Brick stucco dressings. 2 storeys and
basement. 3 windows each. Outer bay of each house set forward slightly, with
rounded corners to form flatish bow. Round headed entrances, set in centre
bays. Panelled partly glazed doors. Square headed windows, architraved; sashes;
plate glass. Central blind windows between houses. Stucco cornice; parapet with
pedimental projection to each house. No 100 was the house of Sir James Barrie
(1860-1937).
