Row of grand houses. Circa 1860. Stucco. Main facade to Hyde Park of 5 storeys
and attic mansard. Each house 3 windows wide. Nos 75,76 and 77 slightly
advanced with rusticated quoins. Rustications to ground floor and Ionic half
columns flanking first floor windows, with blind round heads. Mainly
square-headed windows with pilastered surrounds to ground floor to Nos 80 to 89,
pedimented to first floor with flanking pilasters and first floor balconies;
cornices to second floor windows; architraves to those on second, third and
fourth floors. Sashes, plate glass. French casements to first floor. Cornice
bands between storeys. Main cornice above fourth floor. Rear facade also of
interest with paired Doric porches.
