Early C19. Built in same style as No 60. Red brick with flat, bracketed
eaves and slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 windows under segmental arches but
that of centre 1st floor now with inserted lintel. Top floor sashes,
1st floor modern casements. Ground floor central round arched entrance
with moulded stucco arch terminating in corbels. Flanking large, round
arched, shop windows, the northern one with glazing bars remaining in
arch, southern window has painted arch and stuccoed typanum.

Nos 44 to 52 (even) and Nos 60 to 64 (even) form a group with Nos 45,
45A and 47 and Nos 53 to 81 (odd) opposite and with No 2 New Street.
