Town house. 1846, slightly altered. Brown brick in Flemish bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Trapezoidal double-fronted plan wedged into a triangular plot between No.33 to the left and No.35 to the right which is diagonal to the street, so that the right-hand end is triangular and single-depth while the centre and left are double-depth, with a back extension to the left end. Two storeys over cellar, 3 bays, symmetrical, the centre breaking forwards slightly, otherwise generally matching the elevation of Nos.30 to 33 to the left (as stipulated by the deed of purchase in 1846): plinth, string course (interrupted in the centre), plain frieze and moulded cornice with blocking course (with upstand over centre); central doorway with doorcase of engaged Ionic columns with plain frieze and moulded cornice with blocking course, plain jambs (here with imposts), and panelled door under elliptical fanlight; sashed windows without glazing bars, that over the door recessed and with a gauged brick head, otherwise all with raised sills on sill-blocks, and wedge lintels. Cellar area railings to the left of the door with stone plinth and alternate curvilinear and stick balusters.
