Two shops. Mid to late C18. Brick with stucco front; tile roof
with stone-coped gables and brick stacks. 3 storeys; 4-window
range. Top cornice. C20 shop front has fluted pilasters,
frieze and cornice, small-paned windows and glazed door;
round-headed entry to right end; 1st floor has two 16-pane
sashes to left, two 12-pane sashes to right, 2nd floor has 2
casements to left, two 9-pane sashes to right, all with
moulded plaster surrounds. Left return to Scotch Brook has
oriel. Rear has 2 gabled wings, each with stack to right of
ridge; 1st floor has segmental-headed windows with heavy
wooden frames, one return small-paned window; 2nd floor has
3-light casement with heavy frame.
