GV II

Masonic Hall. Early C19, to earlier core. Stucco; plain tile
roof, gabled to left. Left: 2-storeys; single light with
inward opening fanlight-glazed casement, in moulded architrave
linking to pediment; masonic emblems. Central 4-panel door
with plain overlight in moulded case, under ornate frieze and
pediment on plain pilasters, flanked by 2/2 casements with
pilaster architraves supporting moulded pediments. Right: 2
blind arcades flanked by blind niches; moulded band over;
corbelled gables. Rusticated ground floor, under moulded
cornice. Right gable shows rubble core with brick parapet
over. Rear gable has exposed timber-framing with brick infill,
and large Gothick glazed round-headed window.
