Houses. Early C19 with earlier origins. Brick, painted to
left; some rubble to rear; Welsh slate roof; plain tiles to
rear; brick end stacks. 3-storeys and cellar; 3-window range:
6/6 sashes; 3/3 sash (to left) and two C20 casements over.
Painted stucco lintels to 1st and ground floors. Central pair
of doorcases with pilasters, frieze and flat moulded hood;
6-panel part-glazed door to left (No.38); C20 door to right
(No.36); 8/8 sash. Doorway to rear, to right, under segmental
arch; cellar entrance to left. Extensions to rear. Flying
freehold between the houses, the central 2nd floor room
belonging to No.36 and the back landing to No.38. Cellar
flaps: C Hodges Ludlow Foundry 1841.
