Early C19. Red brick on blue brick plinth and with stone dressings. Three storeys;
8 bays in the rhythm 3:1:1:2:1. Ground floor with 5 windows, a segment-headed
archway end another window. First and second floors each with 8 windows sitting
on plain stone bands. All windows with iron glazing bars, 3 panes deep on the
ground and second floors (partly blocked on the ground floor) and 4 panes deep on
the first, and with gauged brick heads. Blue brick eaves cornice. On the return
in Edward Street, 9 bays similarly treated but with a basement with iron grilles
and 3 of the bays blank.
