GV II*

House. Early C18. Brick; Welsh slate roof; brick end stacks;
double-depth plan. Symmetrical 3-storeys and cellar; 5-window
range: 6/6 sashes with broad glazing bars and cases under
gauged brick flat arches. 2-light casements in broad frames
over soffited eaves; rusticated pilasters. Central entrance
with 6 fielded panel door and ornamental fanlight, under
entablature on fluted pilasters; flanked by pairs of 6/6
sashes. To right, passage to rear has plank door in
round-headed case with grooved panel. INTERIOR: C17 panelling
to hall; dogleg staircase with moulded rail and turned
balusters; fireplaces with delft tiles, and carved frieze;
decorative plasterwork ceilings.
