C18 brick facade, possibly to earlier building. Steeply pitched, old
tiled roof. Brick string course at 1st floor sill height. 2 storeys,
2 windows, those of 1st floor, sashes with flush frames and glazing bars.
Ground floor early C19 shop window, angled bay with glazing bars. Cornice
above, carried over 6 panelled shop door. North, or side, wall now rebuilt,
with brick ground floor and tile hanging above, as a result of demolition.
Nos 1 to 11 (odd) and 15 to 25 (odd) with Denmark House, Elm House, Ruperts
Elm, Ruperts Guard, White House, the Obelisk and No 30, form a group with
Nos 93 and 95 and Nos 70 to 102 (even) with the building at the rear of
No 70 Bell Street and with Tarrys Cottage, Bell Cottage and the flat on
Ruperts Lane.
