TQ 2980 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER CLEVELAND ROW SW1 81/17 9.1.70 No 9 GV II

Terrace house. Late C17, altered early C19. Stuccoed, slate roof. 3 storeys and attic. 3 windows wide, arched doorway to right with fanlight. Flush framed sash windows with glazing bars under flat gauged arches. The central 1st floor window is a shallow Regency rectangular bay. Cast iron balcony to 1st floor. Parapet with coping. Interior retains 2nd and 3rd floor pine panelled rooms with some enrich- ment to front room 2nd floor. The ground floor rooms probably remodelled early C19 and united with a screen of fluted Ionic columns; the staircase dog legged, closed string with turned balusters and moulded handrail.
