SW 93 NW VERYAN VERYAN GREEN

GV II

House, probably originally 2 cottages. C18. Painted; rendered, mostly cob, walls and
water reed thatched roof with brick chimneys over gable ends. 2 room plan, wide rear
stair turret. 2 storeys. 3 window east, road, front. Door off centre to right. C20
glazed porch with flat roof. Window slightly to left may be in former door position.
12-pane, 2-light casements. Original C18 ones to first floor. Rear stair turret is
wider than present stair and probably held 2 stairs originally. Interior has open
hearth with bread oven to one room and open beamed ceilings.
