Mid C18, altered. Formerly part of the Sugar Loaf Inn (see also No 16 adjoining).
Two storeys. Five windows. Slate roof. Multi-coloured stock brick. Stone dentil
cornice. Panelled parapet. Gauged flat brick to recessed sash windows with glazing
bars, Mid C19 stone shopfront with rusticated pilasters carrying entablature-fascia;
and incorporating large carriageway entrance to former inn yard.
