Former school master's house, now house. c1850. Coursed rubble
limestone; ashlar dressings; red brick to rear. Brick chimneys;
pantile roof. Two-storey with single-storey rear wing. Front: 3-
window, all 4-pane sashes in ashlar openings with quoins and
relieving arches over which are segmental-arched to ground floor,
pointed-arched to upper floor. Central doorway with 4-panel door.
Chimney to each gable end with blue brick banding. Two small attic
sashes in each gable end. Altered single-storey rear wing replaces
taller original wing. Included for Group Value, as this building
terminates the vista through the south part of the churchyard, and
provides a visual link between the Parish Centre and Nos 5 and 6
Broadwell (q.v.).
