Farmhouse. Probably late C17, extended late C18 with later additions and
alterations. Roughly coursed slate-stone with quartzite blocks, partly rendered;
hipped slate roof. Original 2-bay house with end stack to right extended
to left and right (break and straight joint respectively). 2 storeys. C19
and C20 casements, 5 directly below eaves, all of 2 lights except fourth from
left of 3. Similar windows to right of centre and far right on ground floor,
both with segmental brick heads. Entrance to left bay of original part; half-
glazed door with rectangular barred overlight under C19 glazed porch. 2 plank
doors to left addition. Granite ridge stack with drips and brown brick top
at junction between original part and right addition. Full-length catslide
outshut to rear continued as lean-to to centre with small C19 gabled range
projecting at right-angles at right.
Interior: Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (December 1987) but
likely to be of interest.
