Pair of cottages. Dated 1861 at 1st floor; altered. Coursed
rock-faced sandstone with dressed quoins, slate and
composition tile roofs respectively, brick chimneys.
Double-depth plan, each single-fronted. Two storeys, 1+1
windows; doorways to the left, with rock-faced surrounds,
board door to No.15 and altered door to No.17;
vertical-rectangular windows with rock-faced surrounds and
chamfered reveals. Ridge chimney in centre, recent brick
chimney to right. Forms group with Nos 19-23 adjoining to
right (qv), Nos 25 & 27 (qv) and Nos 29 & 31 (qv). Included
for group value.
