Pair of cottages, now one dwelling. Late C18; altered. Coursed
squared sandstone, felted stone slate roof, brick chimneys.
Single-depth 2-unit plan. Two low storeys, 1+2 windows;
doorways to the right, with plain surrounds; one square window
on each floor of No.29, a 3-light casement at ground floor of
No.31, a similar square window above this and an inserted
window above the door. Ridge chimney in centre and gable
chimney to left. Forms group with Nos 25 & 27 adjoining to
left (qv), Nos 15 & 17 (qv) and Nos 19-23 (qv).
