Almshouses

GV II

Stables now stores. Probably early C18; altered. Render on
rubble and brick, mono-pitched stone slate roof. Rectangular
plan on north-south axis, forming west side of courtyard to
rear of Almshouses. Single-storey arcade of 11 round-headed
arches with impost band and keystones, altered doors; plain
coped parapet and mono-pitched roof to rear. Forms group with
Lathom House Almshouses (q.v.).
