House, now Post Office. probably late C18 with later additions and alterations.
Rendered slate-stone; slate roof. 2 storeys. Three C19 casements to first
floor and one 3-light C19 casement on ground floor to right of lean-to. This
has boarded door to right with projecting rectangular mid-C19 shop-front (36-
paned fixed-light window with crown glass) to left. Integral end stack-to right
with rubblestone base, rendered shaft and dentilled brick capping. Remains
of pump (base and handle only surviving) with granite basin attached to front
wall to right of lean-to. Interior: Chamfered joists to left ground-floor
room.
