House. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed slate-
stone, slate-hung to front; slate roof. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic. 3-window
front, 3-light C20 casements, of reduced proportions to first floor. Central
wide gabled porch with half-glazed door. Small chamfered rectangular leaded
window on first floor to right gable end and similar window to attic in left
gable end. Prominent external end stacks with slate dripstones. Single-storey
C19 gabled range with plank door to left and 3-light casement to right attached
to right gable end. C19 two-storey gabled range projecting at right-angles
to rear on right with 2-storey catslide outshut to rear of main range. Interior
Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (November 1987) but likely to be
of interest.
