Farmhouse

Barn, now partly store but mostly unoccupied at time of survey
(1991). Probably early-mid C18; altered. Coursed yellow
sandstone rubble, stone slate roof (dilapidated). Seven bays
on north-south axis, with central waggon entrance flanked by
continuous outshuts on east side; various inserted or altered
windows to these. Loft steps up south gable, to loft in
outshut. INTERIOR: fine king-post roof trusses with fishbone
struts, all pegged, and scarf-jointed purlins with run-out
chamfer.
