Late C18 front block, formerly part of the George and Pelican Inn until c1850.
Mid C19 rear range built in the former inn yard. Two storeys. Three window
front to London Road with 1 window return. Four window rear range. Hipped
tile roof with brick ridge stacks. Rendered front with dentil eaves cornice. Brick rear range. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with
glazing bars; good floor windows of rear range with sidelights. Round arched entrance to street; prostyle Tuscan portico to side doorway.
