House, now commercial premises. C17, altered C18.
Timber-framed with masonry lined stucco front. Old tiled roof
with box dormer casement above modillioned eaves cornice, red
brick chimney-stack rebuilt against redeveloped No.5 adjoining
(not included). 2 storeys and attics. 3 nearly flush set sash
windows with glazing bars and exposed boxes on first floor.
C19 shopfront surround has pilasters supporting foliated
consoles. Windows originally arcaded now plate glass, central
double-leaf half-glazed doors now joined together. Long rear
outshoot, part timber-framed, plastered, with old tiled roofs,
rearmost roof has margin of Welsh slates.
