C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a large centre gable and
a smaller gable at the north end. There is some restoration and the timber-framing
is exposed on the east front. Two storeys. The upper storey is jettied
on the whole front and has 2, 3 and 4-light leaded casements. The ground
storey has modern casements with lattice leaded lights. Roof tiled, with
a central square chimney stack and a grouped diagonal shafted chimney stack
at the north end. (RCHM 7).
