Late C16 timber-framed and plastered house. Two storeys and attics. The
first storey is jettied on the whole front. The north and south gables
are tile hung. Three window range, casements with glazing bars. The doorway
has a segmental head surmounted by a small carved panel with a crowned rose
and initials 'E.R.'. Roof tiled, with an original central chimney stack
with 3 octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases. There is a coved plaster
eaves cornice on the east front. (RCHM 8).
