House. Later C18, encasing an earlier, probably C17, building. Red brick,
clay tile roof. Double-pile plan, 2 storeys and attics. Hipped 2-span roof.
Symmetrical 5-bay front elevation. Brickwork, formerly rendered but now
exposed, shows variety of bonds. First floor central window is blocked. All
other windows are sashes with glazing bars under flat arches, and have later
wood shutters. Central entrance has door of 2 moulded panels, rectangular
fanlight, fluted architrave and flat hood on cut brackets. Integral red brick
stacks to both side elevations. Rear block, encasing earlier building,
contains substantial back-to-back hearth served by red brick multiple ridge
stack. Side elevations each have first floor Venetian window lighting central
corridor. Interiors rather plain. C20 flat roofed addition to W.
