GV II


Two similar houses, not built as pair. Early C18. Brick, pantile
roof to No 36 to left and double Roman tile roof to No 34, 3 brick
stacks, moulded wood cornice and fascia. Single range with rear
extensions to each, 2 storeys. 3 bow windows of 4 lights with 8
panes, and one twin casement to left. Ground floor also has 3 bow
windows with doorcase to No 34 between two bows to right with open
wood pediment on consoles and 6-panel door, top 2 glazed and rest
fielded. On No 36 ground floor bow window panes have been
partially replaced with straight plate glass. 2 doors to left of 6
fielded panels with continuous moulded flat hood on 3 brackets,
door on far left probably to passageway.
