Pair of houses in terrace. Early C19. Brick with moulded stone
cornice, concrete tile roof to No 13, slate to No 15, brick stacks.
Single range with rear extensions, 2 storeys. 5 windows, 16-pane
sashes, divided as two to No 13, three to No 15. Symmetrical with
central altered casement on ground floor, 2 flanking round-headed
doorways with radial fanlights and C20 doors, and shop fronts at
extreme ends. That to right (No 15) with moulded wood dentil
cornice and frieze supported on decorative consoles and canted
plate glass shop window divided into 4 segmental head panels by
thin iron colonettes. No 13 has flat front with C20 infill
windows. Included primarily for group value with No 28 High Street
(q.v.), opposite.
