C18 corn mill on site of earlier mill. The existence of this mill was originally
due to the custom of the mediaeval church to make bread for communion. The north-
west half of this building is built out on piles across the river. Two storeys
faced with weatherboarding. Barrel-shaped roof now covered with corrugated iron.
Three casement windows. Doorcase with flat hood on brackets. Three mill stones
are embedded in the path of the front garden.
