Terraced houses. c.1810-11 , associated with J.T. Parkinson's Montagu
Square development for the Portman Estate. Brown brick with stuccoed
ground floors to Nos. 1 and 2, the former with banded rustication;
concealed slate roofs. 4 storeys and basements. 3-window wide fronts
flanking 2-window wide front of No. 2. Semicircular arched doorways to
left, that of No. 2 in moulded stucco architrave surround; panelled doors
with pilaster jambs and patterned fanlights. Recessed sashes under flat
gauged arches. Plat band finishing off ground floor stuccowork. Crowning
stucco cornice and blocking course. Original, cast iron, geometric
patterned balconies to 1st floor, No. 2 with individual balconettes. Cast
iron area railings with urn finials.
