1845-50. A chalet imported from Switzerland as a playhouse for Queen Victoria's
children. Two storeys. Built of tarred wood. Gabled roof. Overhanging
eaves and a fretwork balcony on the 1st floor. Windows have ornamental leaded
lights. The interior contains a tiled kitchen, dining-room, sitting room and
bedrooms.
