Millhouse, now 2 dwellings. Late C17. Squared and coursed limestone,
with ashlar front to left; hipped artificial stone slate roof; stone
and brick end and rear stacks. 4-unit plan. 3 storeys; 6-window first
floor range. Stone lintels over late C20 door to right and glazed door
to right of centre. Label moulds over - chamfered stone-mullioned
windows of up to 3 lights; Upper Steanbridge Mill to left has
continuous label mould over 2 paired 2-light windows and one 2-light
window ^To first floor and over 4-panelled door in chamfered
architrave and grouped ground floor windows; most windows retain
original casements with turnbuckles. Projecting wing of one storey and
attic to left with stone gable end stack and 2-light stone-mullioned
window to right. Interior not inspected but noted as having original
features including heavy beams.
