Stables and adjoining walls, 35 yards long, 10 feet high, running east/west.
Possibly mid-C19. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof, at the centre of the
ridge an open small ventilation tower with weathervane. One storey and attic
aligned east/west, 4 windows each with 6 panes and top vents under segmental
heads. Central double oak doors each having 6 panels, the top 2 of which
have lancet-shaped heads. A second entrance via plainer oak door in west
gable end. Interior: 4 loose boxes with cast iron rails and posts.
Immediately to west of stables, mid-C19 cast iron gates under arch containing
stone coronet and further to north, rubble wall continues to north flank of
Michaelchurch Court (qv) and then returns southwards.
