Mansion block with shops to ground floor. 1904. Brown brick, red brick and stone dressings. 4 storeys plus roof storey. 7 bays, including polygonal corner tower to left. C19 and C20 shopfronts to ground floor. Bay windows to first and second floors. Square with 5 lights to second and seventh bays from left, each bay with ogeed gables to dormers; intervening bay windows canted, 4-light. Mullioned and transomed windows. Third floor windows with arched central lights. Iron balconies to third floor. Cornice above third floor. Arched mullioned and transomed dormers. Tall banded chimney between fourth and fifth bays. Octagonal corner turret with circular windows and ogee dome. Sparing use of delicately carved ornament.
