Barn. Probably C15 or earlier. Timber-frame, brick filled square panel
wall frames and cruck trusses, half-hipped plain tiled roof which has been
raised at-a later date. T-plan, 3 bay east-west range and 2-bay north-south,
formerly 2 barns, the east-west one; probably, formerly of 5 bays. Wagon
entry at west end, formerly a central centry of the long barn, and second
entry at the east end of the long barn. Interior - 4 cruck trusses to
long barn, braced to the sill-beam with large swept braces. 3 cruck
trusses to smaller barn. All timbers are of big scantling, generally
halved and the cruck blades are paired.
